Heard the heartbeat today!

At my first prenatal exam, the office had information written down wrong.. so rather than trying to hear the heartbeat 4 weeks ago, they just did an u/s and I got to see the heart.  At that appointment the heart rate was 160.  Went in today and actually got to hear it and the nurse said it was 140 today!  Seems to me like baby is still carrying a little low, but this is my first, so what do I know?  So very excited because my DH got to hear it too and we scheduled our anatomy scan for July 26th.  We opted against the NT scan because if anything came back abnormal, I'd spend the rest of the pregnancy worrying so this next month is going to take FOREVER to get through!  Smile

    Congrats! We had our appt. today too. HB was 160, but it took the doc like 4 minutes to find it b/c the baby is sooo low in my abdomen, she was focusing more towards my belly button.
    BFP #1: 3.28.11 Dx w/ PIH @ 24w DS Born @ 36w: 11.7.11 6 Days in NICU
    BFP #2: 8.31.16 Dx w/ GD @ 28w DD Born @ 36w: 4.21.17

    Congrats!!! We got to hear our LO's HB today for the first time too :) It's so exciting huh!!!  Our LO's HB was 150 and doc found it right away, still seems like i'm carrying this baby low but I don't know either since this is our first.  Our A/S is 3 weeks from tomorrow and I really really hope the time flies by!!!
