Pulsing/light thumping feeling?

in 2nd Trimester

So I am not sure if I've felt movement yet. A few days ago I felt twitching/somewhat fluttering, but I haven't felt it since.

Now tonight I've felt a pulsing, almost what I'd equate to my own heartbeat, in my stomach. What in the world am I feeling? Is it my own heartbeat (I know it's not the babies) or the baby himself?

    sounds like it could be baby that your feeling. from what I've noticed and what I've heard early on its a fluttery feeling. mine has since changed to a more distinct feeling, its amazing isn't it!

    I'm around 15 weeks, like you- and feeling the same thing today and yesterday. Fluttering, light thumping and I've been wondering if it's baby. It seems like it :)

    The pulsing is most likely your heartbeat from your abdominal aorta. I can always feel/see my pulse in my abdomen

    if you're feeling a rhythmic thumping or pulsing, that's your heartbeat.  but for me, that's exactly what my baby feels like, just not rhythmic.  and i can usually sense when he's about to kick.

    The thumping pulsing is not your baby.  That is your own heartbeat in your stomach.  If you sit still and kind of lean back you'll see it pulsing.

    The fluttering MAY be the baby, but my doc said the average person feels movement between 18 and 25 weeks.  Some a little earlier, some a little later.

    It will start soon enough.  I turned 19 weeks yesterday and have JUST started feeling little taps and swooshes.  Nothing major yet.

    same for me.  I can actually watch my stomach go up and down from my pulse.

    I felt what was like butterfly flutters around 16 weeks..and have been feeling some light pulsing too. Hope this helps!
