Since having Teagen I've become very interested in doing charity work and volunteering as much as I can involving premature babies. What are some good charities and foundations I can get involved in? Im in ohio if that helps any
a lot of hospitals have volunteers that come in and rock/cuddle the babies when they're in the NICU.
Oh! now I understand. Well im definatky going to look into that then. I know when Teagen was in the NICU there was a little boy whose mother and father died in a car accident and they had done emergency csection to save him and I just remember no one ever coming in to see him. I broke my heart.

YUP! That's what I meant. I often say I wish I'd known I could do this back when I had no baby in sight. One day I'll become one (again). They had the program at our hospital but nobody came to see the babies anymore. The nurses mentioned it had been months and that withdrawal babies needed more holding than any of them and the nurses can't provide that kind of time. I think it's the greatest thing you can do, if you have the time
if you are close to Columbus children's hospital offers the holders program
