Daycare Questions (esp. CP moms!)

Two questions:

1) Do you have a good list of questions for visiting daycares? If so, please share (V will be 20 months when she transitions)!

2) If you are in CP, please share your daycare reccs! (alexisandtim @ gmail).

Thanks so much!  Love our school now and love, love, LOVE our teacher so much that it crossed my mind to drive a ridiculous amount of hours each day to keep her there.  That's not realistic, there are plenty of other great centers!

Bluebonnet School of CP is on El Salido off 620, and it's very good.

There are several Goddard Schools in CP that are good. There's a Primrose School next to the Home Depot by the intersection of Vista Ridge and 1431. There's also a daycare right there on Vista Ridge, but I can't remember the name. It's pretty new and it looks really nice. There's a Rainbow something or other on Parmer between Brushy Creek and Colonial Parkway, along with a Montessori school.

Sorry if that's kind of vague - we looked at daycare a few years ago, but I work part-time from home now, so we have the kids home with us.

LOVE Bluebonnet School. Know lots of folks up there, and would have sent DD there had they been able to offer a mom/employee a better package.

The other school on Vista Ridge is Bright Star Academy.

  • I wanted to look at bluebonnet but it's way too expensive for part time (200 bucks more than primrose!). I didnt know until recently had primrose wore uniforms...I'm really not a fan of uniforms (maybe rooted in a couple years of catholic school).
