who's depressed about the way they look still!?! I hit my pre-pg weight this week and I'm appalled! I don't know how on earth I weigh the same. I don't look smaller than pre-pg anywhere on my body, but my stomach still looks pg. I know I was overweight when I got pg, but my stomach didn't look this bad. I have the c/s "pouch" that's for sure, but I was hoping for a little more! I know I'll get there in time though.

i actually love everything but my arms - which ive always hated.
i never cared for my tummy and i love it so much more now for some reason - it is different in a good way.
I'm back to the same weight but my stomach definitely isn't the same... hating the muffin top! Calming my fussy baby on the exercise ball for hours a day is helping tone a bit...
Like almost everyone said, I'm back to the prepregnancy weight, but it looks soooo different, clothes don't fit the same, and I think I look about 10-15 lbs heavier than I did before I was pregnant. Oh, and my arms are super chunky.
This is me right about now. I am about 18lbs below my pre-pg weight but yet my gut is is still very doughy & flabby. I didn't have a flat stomach before, but my stomach was never this jiggly.
I'm within my normal pre-pregnancy range, but my belly has the extra skin from pregnancy, and it looks flabby and gross. I've been doing ab exercises to help pull in everything, but the muscles obviously can't suck in the skin and fat that are layered above them. It's frustrating because I've always been active and fit, and have worked hard for this body, but there's nothing (short of surgery) that I can do about the extra skin.
I haven't really looked at my butt or thighs critically because I haven't been running yet (just started really walking last week), and I'm afraid to look! My six-week appointment is Thursday (DD was born 5/10), and I should be cleared to start working out again. Can't wait!
You're not alone! I still have 10 to go and my stomach is horrid! I'm trying to remember that he was a BIG baby and i carried him all in my tummy! But YIKES...it's gunna take a lot of time. I'm ignoring swim suit season this year and calling it capri season
Yep, I feel the same way.
I definitely need to add some weight training to my workouts.
My Ovulation Chart
Um. I have about 35 pounds to lose. Seriously. I think my body just wigged out during pregnancy or something. You all talked about indulging in certain foods during your pregnancies, and I wasn't exactly a health nut, but I still don't see how I gained as much as I did.
I just picked up my full-length mirror which I had left at the college before Liam was born. (The Theatre Department used it for a prop for a show). I realized (in clothes, at least) that I don't look horrible, but everything's really, really different.
Mac and cheese lover!
This makes me feel SO much better. I keep thinking, "How did I gain almost 60 pounds to have a 5 pound baby?" I keep mentioning my teeny tiny size 0 co-worker who gained 60 pounds with each pregnancy and lost it every time... She's my Obi-Wan Kenobe right now, and now I'll add your mom's story to the mix ;-) Thanks!
Mac and cheese lover!
I'm about where you are.. I have about 30lbs to lose to get down to PP weight. I'm trying to watch my portion sizes and last night I did my Wii Zumba for the first time and holy crap am I out of shape!
I've realized I'm not going to be able to do anything about my hips, but if I can get the stomach toned a bit (it's likely not going to get back to what it was) and my thighs and butt back down I'll be happy.
