Disclaimer: If this is a FAQ, I'm sorry. I tried to search the board but it's either not working right or I'm not finding anything.
Quick version: I have PCOS & endo. After two years TTC, our magic potion was 100mg Clomid + Estrodiol + HcG Trigger + IUI. I know that pregnancy can change your body in many ways and possibly even get it functioning correctly, so no BC for us...just because if it can happen naturally, heck yeah! We'll take what we can get.
BUT, my question is if we do eventually need to seek help from an RE again, will they want to do all of the preliminary testing again due to changes from pregnancy? If you have been through this, what's your experience? TIA!
Re: Conceiving #2 with IF, please come in!
We went back to start the TTC #2 process and all they required were updated bloodwork and an SIS to make sure there was no scarring in my uterus from the pregnancy.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
I'm sure the policy may vary by clinic, but that's a comfort to hear. I can't fathom dealing with them wiping the slate clean and making us start over from square one.
P.S. Congrats on your boys!
Awesome. Thanks so much, and best of luck to you!
Thanks, and I love your sig pic! Your family is beautiful!
I had to do bloodwork, mock transfer, and HSG but they were done on the same day. Good luck
