Eco-friendly disposables?

I have been attempting cloth diapering, with not as much success so far as I had hoped. I mainly use Luvs disposables because they are inexpensive and work well, but I have been wondering about a possible eco-friendly disposable option. A diaper that perhaps is biodegradable in some way, uses less chemicals, etc...any suggestions on a brand?

When we use sposies we get the 365 brand from Whole Foods.  Seventh Generation is another "green", chlorine free brand of diapers.  They're more pricey, but they're the only ones that don't give C a rash, and we only use them for trips or emergencies like "holy crap this is our last diaper I need to do laundry!" or when I'm stripping CDs or something.

  • I don't know how they compare to the WF 365 brand, but we have used Nature Babycare. You can only get them at Walmart around here. They are just a basic paper diaper. They make wipes too and their sensitive skin/ff kind are the only ones Q can tolerate.
Momma to four, and we're expecting one more!

  • We use Nature Babycare when on vacation and loved them. They are the only biodegradable disposable diaper. We got them online through diapers.com. Free 2 day shipping.

You can also get the Nature Babycare  diapers on amazon.com for 30% off using subscribe and save and amazon mom!  That is what we have been using as our travel diaper too!  I also order their wipes using the same deal.  It is less than $40 to get a case of diapers (4 packages) and a case of wipes (10 packages).  You can get 7th Generation using the same deal too!
