I find it so hard to find a pair that fit him right that most of the time I just throw some socks on his feet and call it a day. It is weird that he's almost 5 months old and hasn't really worn shoes.
Never. Though I just realized I have a couple pair that finally fit. We live in California and it's warm, so she doesn't even wear socks usually. Heck, I figure she's not walking so she really doesn't need them.
I found a cute pair of jelly sandals that fit her good at Old Navy. All other shoes are huge on her even size 0-3 months. She just wears socks or is barefoot. Any shoes she would wear would be solely for my own fun of dressing her up, since they're not really necessary until they walk.

I think shoes on infants before they are walking are stupid and pointless. Not to mention a waste of money! DD goes barefoot since it's in the 90s/100s here except at daycare, I put her in socks for sanitary reasons.
I saw a podiatrist on the DRs talking about how kids can learn best how to walk barefoot. It builds their foot muscles/balance & shoes can affect foot shape, so it's best to not use them in the house.

We do socks or socks and Robez most of the time, but we live in Alaska, so it is normally 70degrees on a warm day.

Same here!
Never - not until she walks. She wore them once for Easter, and that's it. Much too big of a pain for diaper changes.
We're also not doing a lot of socks now that it's warm.
This exactly!

Never.
She wears socks when it's cooler, since some nights still dip into the 40s and she has my cold feet, but most of the time she's barefoot.
This! I love shoes, so LO has a few pair, but they rarely get used. It's an expensive and kind of pointless obsession right now.
