Flying solo with 2, Success

We're back from my brother's wedding.  I'm pleased to say that the weather was wonderful, no rain on Saltspring Island that weekend (It was an outdoor wedding).  Also I managed the airport and airplane by myself with 2 kids!  I was intimidated by the thought of it on the way down, so my mum flew with me, but I did it solo on the way home.  The flights were only an hour each way and the airports on both ends were small, but I still feel a sense of accomplishment.

We drove half the way with DH on the way there, and were planning on driving the whole way home, but I'm really glad DH talked me into flying back part way too. If the airport near us had better flights we would have flown all the way home.

Being away with a newborn was tiring and it feels so good to be home.

    Wow! You should be proud of yourself! I have yet to tackle grocery shopping alone with two, let alone the airport. Good job, mama!

    Oh, you give me hope!! I have to fly with LO in a week. Two flights with one lay over...not excited about it.
