Question on how you create a poll?

Hi! I have seen a number of polls asking people to vote on names, etc - does anybody know how to create those?

Also, does anyone know where members get those other images for their signature lines? Like the "cloth diaper mom", and "I went natural" - those ones.

not sure about the poll... but the little pics are called badges. I can't remember the exact place to find them, but I know there is an option somewhere in there where you are editing your siggy.
