re: update on me

So, I just got a call from my OB telling me they don't really feel a need to see me since I am far enough along that the progesterone level shouldn't really matter that much. WTH? Um, just 4 days ago they were concerned enough to want me to come in to have an u/s.

Although I was feeling better about the situation since I am feeling a lot of movement, I am now concerned they don't want me to come in at all. I do have an appt and anatomy scan scheduled for next monday, but I was sort of hoping to be seen today. I know I can always call with my concerns, but dealing with 2 differnt drs is very frustrating especially when I don't feel like we are all on the same page.

That stinks! I would call back and just be honest and tell them that because of THEM... you are worried and would prefer to be seen today.

That is very frustrating. Could you call and just explain the situation? Say, Dr. A wanted to see me today, but now Dr. B is saying that there's not a need to be seen. Could somebody explain to me why that is? At the least, hopefully you'll get an explanation.

What a bummer. I'm sure you were excited to see the baby today and maybe even find out what you're having.

Unless they had a true concern about PTL then they are right about the progesterone levels but on the overhand setting the fire and not putting it out, that's just bad. Call them, tell them you need to be reassured now because they managed to send your stress levels through the roof this weekend!

While I have heard that once you get to a certain point it doesn't matter, I wouldn't be ok with waiting until next week. A lot can happen in a week. Obviously you know your body the best, but if you have any worry at all I would call back and let them know that you aren't ok with waiting.
