Success after IF

3rd tri TMI question

I am having some weird stuff going on with my vag. The past few days, I feel constantly swollen and engorged down there. Almost tender and achy. Normal? I don't remember having it with Eliza.

  • Totally normal. All the pressure and blood down there...things can get ugly. Good times. Good times.
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation.
    Because we're fancy like that.

  • I am swollen there too.  But not tender.  I have some pelvic pain but not vag pain.

this!  sorry...that was such a weird symptom!
  • Yep, normal!  Between the baby's pressure and the area getting ready for birth, a lot is going on down there! :)

  • Yeah, what everyone else said. With #2, I swore I musta looked like a baboon.

Talk to your OB about feeling achy though. What kind of achy? Your ligaments and joints are softening via Relaxin in order to stretch your body for the upcoming birth. That feels uncomfortable, but shouldn't constantly be painful.
