And it was actually a success! He cried until he fell asleep for about 7 minutes, but didn't wake up at all throughout the night. Let's hope it continues to go so well.

YES! Just checked in on him and he went to sleep without it for his nap with no problem!
I guess it helped that he is transitioning into a new classroom and wore himself out crying the two hours he was visiting.
