This weekend DH and I sold a freezer on craigslist, the family came to pick it up and their little girl who they said was adopted was VERY interested in my belly. She was asking all sorts of questions about the baby, and then said to me:
"Is it yours?"
It was by far the funniest and cutest things I've heard in a long time. I mean, that's a legitimate question coming for a 4 or 5 year old little girl who was adopted, right?! DH and I laughed about that the rest of the day.
Re: Is it yours?
that's cute.
kids ask the funniest questions about babies. I took DD1 in for my sister's show and tell when she was 2 months old (sister was in 2nd grade). some of the questions they asked me:
How many teeth does she have?
Can she walk?
How many words does she know?
Does she wear diapers or go on the potty?
Does she drink liquid or powder?
LOL @ does she drink liquid or powder! hah! Kids are just so darn cute.
I almost lost it at that one. I mean, even if a baby is formula fed, I sure hope mom/dad is making it into liquid first!
Too cute!
My cousins daughter was with us for lunch one day. We were talking about the baby in my belly, she just turned 4, and she informed us that she had baby dolls in her tummy too!
It doesn't seem like it's going to show up bold, but "Get all that hair off the baby" is hilarious!
Ha! They are all so sweet, and without even trying.
I had dinner with my girlfriend and her little girls the other week. The oldest, who is 3, rubbed my belly and said, "Is her name Allie?"
It was a cute moment!
HAHAHA!
When my mom found out that my littlest sister was a girl, my brother looked at her and very seriously told her, "Mommy. You have GOT to bring that baby back. I could NEVER EVER love another girl."
