Success after IF

OMG, Im so happy to have DH back to work! haha

I mean, I LOVE having him around, and wish he was around MUCH more (he owns his business, and works 12 hour days 6 days a week, and sometimes a few hour on his one day off too..but when he has breaks (3 times a year) it's for 2 weeks...He does work a lot of that time too. I just wish he was around like a "normal job" dad, evenings, weekends, holidays...that 2 weeks at once is hard to handle sometimes :) In the 2 weeks we try to fit a bunch of stuff in, fun stuff with the kids, house stuff, it gets a bit tiring...and his patience is MUCH thinner then mine, and I spend so much of the time trying to keep the kids from whining, so I don't have to hear him bitching about it. I also get tired of hearing him criticize the way I do things (and have been doing them for years now).

LOVE the man, but SO SO SO happy to get back to our routine :)

Phew! I was going to say (having just friended you FB during the GTG) - I was shocked/impressed by how many activities you were doing with your kids!! ;) I was beginning to wonder if you were human!

Ha - now I realize it was 2 week intensive family time and it makes a lot more sense!! :) Glad you can get back into your routine now!

  • Yeah...that would annoy me too! Glad you guys are back on schedule today!

  • haha, I kind of feel like that every Monday!  On the weekends EVERYTHING gets thrown off!  It's nice to be busy and have tonnes of fun but Monday are a write off because of it.  How come when we are outside all day the house is more dirty at the end of the day?

  • SO right there with you mama.  DH is not patient either and I get really impatient with HIS impatience - ha ha!
    Wheee!

this is the biggest reason i am so relaxed not having him here! i would rather do it all myself then have him get frustrated and constantly sighing and trying to put them in timeout for things they don't need to go for, and gating off every room just so he doesn't have to deal with things!
