Success after IF

Would this bother you?

We signed DD up for a group music class that starts in about two weeks. We registered several weeks ago. Lastnight DH gets an email from the program owner announcing the availability of a full-time Au Pair. Apparently one of her customers runs a nanny service and asked her to forward this email to everyone. Basically an advertisement. Would it bother you to get this type of forwarded email from a business just because you registered for one of their classes? I have a similar business and have never considered or would send out something like this that wasn't directly related to my business.

  • it'd tick me right off. So much so I'd likely send an email back requesting that I'm taken off his "spam" list (yes, I'd use that word) and ask that my email ONLY be used for business related to the music class only, and NOT sold or shared.

    The nerve ;-)

  • i think it's only ok if you agreed to receive emails from the business. even then it's kind of weird.

  • DH pretty much did what Davez said. I was more irritated, but whatever about it. I probably wouldn't have bothered to respond. I was very close to being irritated with DH for his reaction, but from your responses I'm glad I kept it to myself. Maybe he isn't all crazy afterall. ;-)
