Yesterday I had appts with the Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist and my OB. The good news is that both babies are still going strong and have great heartbeats! Baby B is now only measuring about 4-5 days behind instead of 7.
The downside is that Baby B's gestational sac is really small. Even though the sizes of the babies aren't that different, Baby B's sac is about 1/3 of the size of Baby A's. The doctors think this could still have a great outcome, but we really just need to keep waiting and think positive.
Thanks for all of your well wishes last week! It's so hard to just wait, but I just keep reminding myself that the news gets better every week so I'm praying the trend will continue!
Re: Update on smaller twin
Is the sac something that continues to grow?
Lots of prayers for Baby B.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
