OMG- last night sucked Azz!!!

Nicholas went to bed at 8:00 (his normal time).  He took a nap in the afternoon.  The nap wasn't too long, just the usual time he takes.  After we put him to bed, he wasn't tired.  He was wide awake.   So DH got him and they played in his room for a little while.   Then he put him back in his crib around 9.  Still NOT TIRED!!!!   I went in there and laid on the floor in his room.   He just kept walking around the crib and talking.  "Mine! Mine! Mom? Mom?  Ayba. Aybaaa".   I was laying on a hard floor silently praying he would go to sleep.   Nothing.   UGH!   Finally DH took over, but then Ava woke up to eat around 2.   All this lasted til about 3.  

So Nicholas didn't go to bed AT ALL til around 2:00am.  Then he was up again at 4:00 (WTF?).   No clue why.  I gave him Motrin in case it was his teeth.  No fever.  I thought I was going to lose my mind last night.  

Then Ava woke up for the day at 5:00.   So needless to say I'm tired.  Nicholas did go back to sleep around 5:00, but then I had to wake him up for camp. 

Please let my kids have mercy on me today and take a simultaneous naps.  And please let my 2 yr old go to sleep like normal and SLEEP!!!!!  

And no I have no plans to cut out or shorten his naps.

    Ugg.  Hopefully it was just a fluke and he'll be back to normal tonight!  Hope you fit a nap in today!

    that truly sucks!!! I have no clue, and would guess it was a fluke...the boys do it every once in a while too, even with no nap :P i hope SO much they nap for you today!!
