What does morning sickness feel like? TMI inside

Ugh...I can't believe I have to even ask this question but my mind is racing.

I have body aches (but mainly in my leggs and lower back) and I am exhausted. I've thrown up twice this morning and I wouldn't be at work if my boss hadn't said something about missing days last week. All I want to do is sleep.

I never had morning sickness with Jack so I honestly don't know if this is that or a bug. I started my pack of pills 3 weeks ago and I might be breakthrough bleading since I'm on seasonale and this would be my normal time.

  • I was exhausted all the time, felt like I was going to vomit all the time, couldn't think about eating food. It wasn't just morning for me, it was all day.

  • It could be the flu.  I don't think you should be at work, that sounds so miserable!  Are you running a fever?  You could also have food poisoning.

I currently have m/s - I basically just have constant waves of nausea (no vomiting) and by the end of the day feel completely exhausted.

I hope you feel better soon.

    (( hugs ))

Forgot to add that I didn't start feeling like that until I was 6 weeks pregnant.
  • It felt like a hangover.  For six weeks.

  • The body aches make me think it might be a stomach bug that's going around. Sad

I only threw up a couple times with morning sickness, but was nauseous for a long time. It was 24/7 nausea and any movement (walking, riding in a car, etc) made it worse. The exhaustion didn't really feel like body aches, it was like my whole body was full of led and I didn't have the energy to move around.

  • I'm not sure if I'm misreading your post...but is there a reason you think you might be preggers?

Sounds to me, unfortunately, like a bug - V had it bad last week, I never threw up but had a fever and severe aches, especially in my legs.

Yes, I'm worried that I could be. But I also think it could be a bug. I had a small bug last week but never like this. We used condoms while I started back on my pills but we all know they aren't fool proof. DH and I are finally in a good place after going through a few really rough months and I know it's really selfish of me but I don't want another baby and I'm not sure if we could take one right now. This is the first time I've ever wanted it to be a virus.

  • Sounds like that horrible stomach bug.  Hopefully it'll be mild for you!
  • m/s never included body aches. Sounds like it's a bug to me. Yay, right?
    Dear Bump: You suck.
  • Morning sickness for me felt like the worst hangover I've ever had 24 hours a day.  Tired beyond the point of exhaustion, light headed, achy, nauseous/vomiting, horrible headache...
  • Mine hit at about 5 weeks.  I feel nauseous off and on pretty much all day.  I usually have it bad when I wake up.  I haven't thrown up but I have times when I'm just gagging.  Nothing really sounds good and I just basically feel hungover like pp said.  I had headaches at the beginning but luckily those subsided when the nausea came.

GL that it's a bug or something.  (What a weird sentence, huh?)

  • Ditto pps.  It was like the worst hangover of my life.  And I felt like I was operating on about an hour of sleep.

It sounds like a bug to me, but if you're worried you can always take a test.

  • Ditto the ditto and the itto.

Like a hangover. For 9 months both times. That vague "I might throw up" followed by a "OMG, I'm totally going to puke". Puke. Feel better for about 5-10 minutes then start cycle all over again. The exhaustion was short lived but severe both times for a few weeks early on. I went to bed before Abby a few times!

They have the $2 "dollar store" tests at HEB now. Cheap. Easy. Effective. They're the same ones we use at the hospital.
