NBR: places to run in Key West

I'm going to be in Key West for a few days soon, and I'd like to run once or twice while I'm there. Does anyone have any suggestions for particularly popular/scenic (and of course safe!) areas to run? We'll be staying not far from all the Duval St. action and without a car, so somewhere I can get to from there on foot would be great.

We were just there and I saw lots of runners in the mornings running down the streets running parallel to Duval. Maybe your hotel can give you some path suggestions though.
