CD Momma - favor request

I just realized that in July I'll be using a HE machine to wash B's diapers for a week and I don't have any CD-friendly HE detergent.

Anyone (a) have brand recommendations, and/or (b) would be willing to mail me about a weeks worth of detergent (I could send you a few bucks back)?

    We use Rockin' Green Hard Rock; their detergent varies based on the kind of water you have (hard or soft). You can get samples from them to see what works best (and then you don't have to send your addy to a random internet stranger. Wink :

     We've also used 7th Generation unscented baby, but the RNG seems to work better.

    We use BumGenius brand and Charlie's Soap and I recommend both. From what I've heard/read, if you just use 1/4 of the amount you'd use in a top loader, its fine for a front loader. What do you currently use?

    And if you want, I could definitely send you some BG powder. A week's worth is seriously like 1/4 cup. lol

    I use Tide Free and Clear Powder.  We don't have an HE machine but they also make it in the HE version.  They have small sample sizes at the target here for like $0.80 each.

    Ohh, I'll see if I can get some samples tonight.

    We use All Free and Clear at home.  I'm pretty unfamiliar with HE so I just don't want to do anything to mess up my mom's machine.

    our local CD store recommends just using regular powder Tide. i know people woul frown on that rec, but this is years and years of cloth diaper use and feedback from their customers that led them to give this advice.

    we use the HE one in our front loader and haven't had any problems with irritating H's skin. I use about 2 TB in the regular wash cycle and 1 TB in the prewash.

    Hah, I never thought about powder in the mail.
