mil is an effing jerk! she had the nerve to tell my fiance that he couldn't support dd and i. i want to punch her and cry! i'm so angry! he works 40+ hours a week doing manual labor just so we can pay bills aea! he works his a$$ off so i can stay home and take care of baby! we may struggle bit we've never been late to pay a bill and dd has everything she needs! i'm so pissed! thanks for letting me vent. i was extremely close to calling her just to tell her to eff off.

Be the bigger person, say thank you for your concern, but our finances are not really any of your business. Then curse at her in your head lol. My mil likes to play the what if game with us if we ever tell her we are buying a new car or whatever. What if you lose your job, what if you cant make the payments, what if....you get the picture.

I'm so sorry! I agree with Lilley- inform her politely your finances are none of her beeswax. I know it's totally aggravating, just don't say anything you'll regret in 5 years.

thanks ladies. i know i would regret cursing at her and i'm going to take the high road. unfortunately her comment really hurt her son and he's not letting her see dd. i don't want to go behind his back, so hopefully this will blow over soon because dd needs her grandmother (even if she is a drunken b****)
