update on me

I just got home from trip to Sandusky for a family wedding.  We left early Thursday morning so my SIL and I could prepare food for this event.  Upon arriving there thursday afternoon I checked my home messages to find out my dr had called to let me know the results from last week's progesterone test (yes I am 19 weeks and still on the progesterone supplement).  He was VERY concerned that the level had dropped significantly and he advised me to come into the office thursday or friday to have a progesterone injection.  Well I immediately freaked out and called him back.  He advised me to call my OB (since he is my GP) and see what they wanted me to do.  Since I was OOT and wouldn't be home til today, my OB wants me to come in Monday for an u/s and a dr appt.

I have been very concerned all weekend about this and very anxious to see and hear our baby tomorrow.  It was hard to enjoy myself at this wedding, but I still managed to have a good time despite this and the added stress that came with making my first wedding cake!  Everything turned out well and I am feeling fine and am noticing more and more movement each day, so that has to be good right?

On a happier note, my anatomy scan wasn't scheduled for another week, so I am hoping to find out the gender at tomorrow's appt!

Please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow that everything is ok.  Thanks!

Re: update on me

  • Oh my goodness, hope it is nothing, Progesterone tests differently at different times of the day so maybe it is nothing.

  • I think that it's a great sign that the baby is still moving around all over the place. Hopefully it will be something that can be fixed quickly with a supplement, and finding out the gender sooner would be GREAT! Lots of luck!

  • Goodness! The 17p injection is proven to be very helpful so hopefully they get that soon enough for you. I cant wait to hear how your ultrasound goes. Hopefully you will get a peek at the gender! Good luck tomorrow, I'm sure things will be just fine.
