XP: OMG! Flies in poo diapers! AHHHH!

I am so horrified! We keep DS's #2 diapers in a stainless steel trash can in our screened-in porch by our washer. Today I went to wash his diapers, and there were flies in there! AHHHHH! All I could think is, "What if they laid eggs???" I washed with bleach and extra rinses. SO horrible! All I can guess is the can wasn't closed all the way - our porch isn't exactly perfectly screened off either. AHHH!

Yuck! Flies are so gross. Do moth balls deter flies?

We had a fly issue in our basement last year. It was the worst! It took about 2 weeks and plenty of fly squatters but they finally disappeared.
