We have it narrowed down to six, with two favorites. DD's name has significant meaning (Grace), so the meaning is important for this one too. Here's the list:Favorites: Elizabeth - we really like the meaning (God is bountiful), but don't like how common the name is. I also like Beth for short, but DH likes Liz and I don't want her having two nicknames. Annalise - we like the meaning (Grace) and it isn't common, but to me it sounds Spanish and we aren't Spanish (I know that might sound weird, but it just feels odd to me, probably b/c I know a lot of Spanish people). I'm also not crazy about using Anna for short. Others:Elyse
Eve
Eden
BethanyThanks for your feedback!
Re: help us pick a name (XP)
I love Annalise. I don't think that it sounds Spanish. You could also use Elise as a nickname if you like.
I also really like Elise (although I prefer this spelling).
Eden and Eve are both great names but I would assume that your family was very religious considering your DD's name Grace. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just something to consider.
I don't care for Bethany but it would allow for the use of the nickname Beth.

I have only known one Annaliese (spelled like this), and she was white, not spanish. Everyone called her Anna, but she still had a longer, more formal name.
My MN was Elizabeth (before marriage) and I LOVE it. I thought it meant "consecrated to God" though? I think the meaning and name are both beautiful, and although its semi-popular, it is a classic name that isn't trendy and won't ever be dated.
REALLY don't like Eve or Eden, sorry. Bethany is OK as well as Elise. (I prefer the i spelling, also)
Since meanings are important to you, why don't you look up some Christian naming websites and find some meanings. That is what my DH and I did and it really helped!
