Asha fell out of the bed again
- hard this time. DH got up, and she was up. He thought I was fully awake and left her in bed with me. I was still sleepy and she was right near my head trying to pull up against the wall where the back of the bed is....I must have totally dozed off because the next think I hear is a thud and a cry and she isn't on the bed anymore....I race around to DH's side and find her on the floor crying...she must have hit something against (or kicked) his heavy wooden nightstand because I think that was the thud...but I believe her head was facing away from it...
we called our pedi in TX and they gave us the instructions on what to watch for...she seems ok now but we need to know where to take her in case she starts to show any symptoms....
I still have BCBS and the two hospitals that came up are Franciscan Wheaton St. Joseph and Columbia St. Mary's - are these any good? Isn't there a Children's Hospital around here?
Re: More Help From Milwaukee People: Hospital?
My daughters peditrician is Dr Bernstein and she is associated w Columbia St Marys. I really like that hospital.
And Childrens (Froedtert) is excellent of course.
Our pedi is about 2 mins from you -Bayshore Pediatric (Dr. Paley). They are affiliated with Children's Hospital. The area children's urgent care is in their building as well.
For non-child emergencies, Columbia St. Mary's is where we go. It's actually where I was for over a month on bed rest while I was pg since they have a level III NICU.
Also, I hope your LO is feeling okay this morning:( I know how scary it is hear a thud in the middle of the night and then find a kid on the floor...
DO NOT go to st joes. DS was in the NICU there and we hated it. despite their claim to be the "baby hospital."
hope LO is feeling better!
