Finding balance between anxiety and wakefullness

I'm on Xanax for ppd/ppa and I'm having trouble finding the balance between controlling my anxiety and staying awake. I'm also on lexapro and abilfy Anyone else

    Is your dose of xanax too high?

    Before I got pregnant, I struggled with that too.  I'd take 1/2 of my xanax to take the edge off of my anxiety and still be able to go to work and handle other situations.

    Xanax and Ativan sometimes knock me out too.  I used Klonopin instead and had better results.

    Even 1/2 of the lowest dose Xanax knocks me out. Ativan worked much better. I still get a little tired but not anything I can't deal with.
