TTC after 35

Still injecting...alot~~~

Well...it seems that I have been injecting myself (ok...DH does it-thanks my love)

for about a month. Even though it hasn't really been that long....

Tonight, I did one Ganirelix, 4 vials of Menopur and 300 IU of Follistim....I was shaking from the amount....

I still feel pretty good though! I'm going back Monday and I am pretty certain the retrieval and transfer are coming up fast!

I have never felt this indifferent or just calm might be the better term. Whatever happens, happens....

Wish us luck. Hope you are all doing well! Have a great day!!!

  • Hang in there on the injections. I was reading another IF's blog last night. It was an old blog from 2007. The woman failed the first IVF and said the exact same thing about feeling indifferent/calm. I think it is normal to feel that way and not a bad thing, Maybe it will help.  You know what to expect this time so it isn't as scary/new like before.  Wishing you tons of success!!

  • Thank you!  I think the retrieval may be this Weds or Thurs. My follix really jumped up in size when I went yesterday. Of course I have to go back tomorrow at the crack of dawn for more blood work etc...

I don't really even feel anything, I am not tired either....of course I did sneak a little real coffee lately....I can't be so crazy to just stop all my vices... ;)

I will see what happens....Thank you again!!

  • You have a great attitude.  I hope you trigger soon and your ER goes great.
