s/o sex poll: Sex with your DH/DW - better before or after marriage?

    I just glanced at the title of this post and with the location that it cut off (mar...) I assumed it... sex better before or after margaritas. lol

     

    But as for marriage - our sex really didn't change at all after we got married. Now after we had a baby? Holy lack of sex drive batman!

    Yeah, I think I need an after baby option as well.  Sad  Though I gotta say I do love me some pregnant sex.

    I said after... but there were some AMAZING quickies in random places before we were married and when we didn't care if we got caught.  But emotionally it is so much more now.

    Before: Good

    Immediately after: OK

    6-12 months after: BAD- averaging once every two weeks and it felt like work (to me) even then.  I fully blame birth control pills. 

    And then it got awesome again slowly but surely.  I think right now we've fallen back into an "OK" period because we loathe condoms and I haven't been able to chart much lately... so... yeah... oh and we're old and are always too tired.

    Yes!  I stopped taking them for that very reason.  And, well, see siggy.

    After this LO DH will be getting a vasectomy whether he likes it or not.

    Well for me it's not so much lack of sex drive, just lack of time, lack of coordinated schedules, lack of energy, few date nights, etc.  Marriage didn't really change anything for us, babies changed everything.

    Well for me it's not so much lack of sex drive, just lack of time, lack of coordinated schedules, lack of energy, few date nights, etc.  Marriage didn't really change anything for us, babies changed everything. 

    Its definitely taken a drive since having DD. To those that waited...THANK YOU! You have my utmost respect. I swore I would wait until marriage. I didn't and regret it terribly.
