WIll you be going to any of Kaiser's birth classes?

I actually attended those classes with my first. I really likde them. I attended the birthing class at the Kaiser Waipio with Pat Goding. I think I took all the class that was offered except the epidural class. I highly recommend them all. Especially the basis infant care class, I think it was good for the Hubby to know what to expect when it came to changing diapers, breastfeeding etc.
I believe they have a few more offered now. Which clinic is your Dr? I used to be at the Mapunapuna one but since they moved I am now at Waipio. I just got a letter that my Dr. is taking a leave for about a year. It?s fine though since I really like the midwife I have been seeing.**butting in**

Sure am:) I think it's wonderful that Kaiser now offers Midwives. The Midwife that I've been working with is very optimistic that I can.
Oh that's awesome. I will be going to Pat's class. Also the stork class at Waipio. I have heard a lot of good things about the classes. I will probably do the new mommy classes right after I give birth. I currently see Dr. Hutchinson at Hon clinic. I really like her. That would be cool if we deliver around the same time! My Husband works for Kaiser, I love them!
Yes, the stork class (I couldn't think of the name). I didn't realize they offered mommy classes. That is awesome! That would really cool if we did. We'll have to keep each other posted. Have you looked into choosing a pedi yet? We see Dr. Blake Matsumoto at the Waipio clinic. I choose an alternative vaccine schedule with Ashton and he was very open to doing what ever made me feel more comfortable. I love Kaiser too. I've had nothing but a good experiences with them.
DH an I see Dr young out of Waipio and I absolutely love her. she is FP but she said she sees babies also so she will be our pedi. Early December I sprained my ankle but it just wouldn't heal. Two days before Christmas they took another pic and found it was fractured. She called in a favor and got me into ortho that day! Also I have stomach issues but she is being very non-invasive since we don't know if its reproductive or gastro and she knows we want more children so she doesn't want to risk that for us. However her treatments have been helping. But if she is busy I will keep dr matsumoto in mind!
I don't know anything about vaccine schedules. I guess I still have a lot to learn!
