In honor of Father's Day...

My sis posted this link of FB that I thought I'd share. Great article on "hands on" dads. I'm lucky to know DS will have a dad like this. He's already this way with our niece and nephew.  Smile

  • Very good article!  I'm glad my boys have a Dad like this.  He's home alone with them while I work at least 3 days a week, and it's such a great thing for him and them.  He knows first hand what my days are like when he's at work, and it's definitely made him a better dad.  We're a very 50/50 household though, we both cook, we both clean and do laundry.  I can't even imagine having a husband who wouldn't give baths or read bedtime stories or change diapers

  • Great article.  I'm so lucky my husband is like that too.  We have opposite shifts, so he's with the girls for most of the day.  I love watching him play dolls with DD or try to put a ponytail in her hair!  And it's such a huge help that he does chores too!!

  • My husband does 50% of the work he can (except feeding, of course).  He also has been home with her for the last 4 weeks while I finished the rest of the school year.  I really appreciate everything he does, but I would honestly be mad at him if he weren't as helpful!
