NIP

I finally got the courage to NIP today. We were at a street festival and the woman at the picnic table next to us was NIP. When LO started to fuss, I thought about going back to the car to nurse her, but then I was like what the hell, if that woman can do it, so can I. And it was fine. No one said anything or looked at me funny.

And it was great to get out of the house for the afternoon as a family and not worry about bringing bottles or whatever.

The more women do it, the more comfortable other women will be. I only worry about making myself comfortable, and being somewhat respectful of the situation in whether I use a cover or not.

Awesome. It gets easier to NIP the more you do it. I can whip out a receiving blanket and have her on in less than a minute and not flash a single person! And you become less aware of the people around you too when you do it. At first I was nervous, but now I could care less!

I get bad looks for it sometimes still. Yesterday I went to the outlet malls and sat outside nursing. Everyone looked as they walked by like it was a side show. I want to make a blanket the has a boob picture on it so they have something to stare at
