For around $100? I'm looking to buy one for Seattle in a few weeks.
The recline is crucial. ![]()
I'm looking at the Maclaren Triumph, on sale at Albee's for $120. Anything else?
I didn't see any Peg Peregos for less than $170. We have a cheapy Chicco umbrella stroller at my ILs but it doesn't recline enough for us right now. Elena isn't sitting yet and she'll NEED to be able to nap in this (I hope
).
I'm seeing others but they're not getting good reviews. I'm now looking at Combis, but I could waste away the rest of the day doing this so I thought I'd ask. ![]()
(I began by looking at the Caboose and Sit-N-Stand but they didn't seem to recline enough. Kira hasn't ridden in a stroller for 2 years, however, so that should be OK, unless anyone has a different experience?)
Despite having researched car seats over the years, I don't think I've researched strollers since 2007! Oops!
Thank you!!!

Re: stroller with good recline and good sunshade?
Cool -- thanks! I'm was just searching for Chiccos.
I like that specific one as well as the Maclaren so I'll compare the two a bit more. Thanks so much for the recline review too -- that's definitely the best recline, though the shade is puny, unfortunately. Something may have to give though, LOL. Thanks again!
ETA: It seems kinda big and heavy for something considered light -- do you think it'd be a bit big for travel and storage? We'll use it 9 days in July and then not again until we visit my parents next year. Sorry for the follow-up question, and thank you -- indeed you did already answer my biggest question!

My liteway seems pretty light. It also folds up pretty compact. I did get an extra shade to use on the stroller that extends farther and also protects against the UV/UVB rays. It also steers really well. DS slept many times in the liteway. :-)

Spockles, out of all the websites out there, my "combi cosmo vs chicco liteway" and my "chicco liteway vs maclaren triumph" Google searches turned up this!
And, just 'cause I've spent WAY too much time on this already, would you mind telling me what sunshade you bought to go with it? I'm strongly leaning toward getting this and doing the same. THANK YOU!

OK, now I'm leaning toward the Uppababy G-Luxe. Second choice is the Chicco or the Inglesina Swift. I think I've eliminated the Maclaren. And I have eliminated the Combi.
The joy.

I'll go to the Kolcraft page now -- thanks! And I do remember seeing it on the way out!
It'll depend how big it is I suppose -- we'll be using it just 9 days next month and then it'll stay in my parents' storage for a year and we won't need it again until E is 19ish months, so the smaller and lighter the better.
Awesome, BRS. The basket isn't a big deal at all, but the recline is good (but not as good as others, only 120 degrees, and I don't know if that's enough for a sleeping baby) and the sunshade is the best I saw. It looks easy to fold too. SO glad to hear someone has that one -- it's not very common!
Thank you!

Thanks, Jamaica!
For those of you holding your breath, LOL, I decided on...the Cybex Onyx (!). It's a bit more money but I'll swing it. Everything else was missing something, and this one struck me as exactly what we want. Unfortunately it's not as commonly sold but it's available a few places. We were all set to buy the Uppababy last night but I'm glad I kept looking today after all! Thanks SO much for sharing your experiences, everyone!!
