Right now LO sleeps whenever he sleeps... The longer I hold him, the longer he can sleep. By a fluke, he slept yesterday in his crib for 2 hours. Otherwise, there's no real nap schedule. When should we start putting an effort into giving him a real "naptime?"

Interesting..I'm assuming this is only during the day... I can't imagine trying to keep baby awake an hour after a night feeding. lol I'd be willing to try this. However, my LO doesn't usually sleep independently in a bassinet/swing/crib/bouncer for extended periods of time during the day. I'm lucky if I can get him to sleep 45 minutes at a clip without being held.
At night you are supposed to give them their bottle and then put them right back down until they wake up for their next feeding. We have been very fortunate to have a baby that is a good sleeper
