To whomever posted the "DAD" picture idea...

For Father's Day gifts...  THANK YOU!

I finally updated my siggy and after ~100 pictures this morning, I finally got the 3 pictures I like.  Someone turned the light on in the last one, but I'll live with it.

On a side note, I didn't think I'd have time to do this because of the painting the letters step... until I realized that I only needed a D and an A, and they're already hanging on B's wall for his name.  Embarrassed

Me too... though I would have run around to 5 different stores.. painted the letters, made a mess... taken the pictures..

Then after DH opened it he would say after I explained how much effort went into it "Why didn't you just use the letters on his wall?"

So huge thumbs up that you realized it!

  • The pictures turned out so cute!

I'm not gonna lie.  Last year when I did this, I very nearly picked up three letters from the shelf...two Ds and an A.  Um, duh!

  • Cute!  Good for you for using what you already have in the house.  You made me think about it with your post, because I bought letters.  I didn't have anything usable here.  That is perfect that it was no cost on the letters for you!  Great images!

I have been so busy this week, despite the stinking rain days, doing those DAD photos. I didn't even get time to do Bren's where I had planned (curses to the stinky weather), but I got some great shots in DH's beloved yard, with his new fence as a backdrop.  He will love that.  Now if DD will not blow the secret before he opens it.....

DH did love it!  We gave him his stuff last night because today is a kind of crazy day.  Anyway...  my 'i don't talk much' son was screaming "Da" last night as we gave him his stuff...  if DS actually communicated, the secret would have been spoiled, for sure.
