Mine hated the miracle blanket too, and won't take a pacifier for love or money (not any brand).
She does sleep really well in the Woombie. It isn't a traditional swaddler, but it helps her relax. DS had to be double swaddled in my super tight fort-knox swaddle to sleep, this one just needs to be contained.

I can't keep DS in the thing. He does like the paci but recently discovered his tongue so he normally pokes it out and then is entertained by his tongue for awhile.

I had trouble with the swaddling too. He got out of everything. I ended up buying Swaddle Designs blanket. They are a bit pricey ($25), but using the happiest baby on the block swaddle technique they stay well. At 2 months he rarely breaks out of them, and when he does it's usually a bad swaddle job on my end.
I still don't get what I am doing wrong with the A +A blanlets that everyone loves. I can't get those tight at all. His leg pops out or his arm. I use them as a stroller blanket, but if anyone knows a trick for those let me know - it's the perfect fabric for the summer!
Are you trying to soothe her and/or get her to sleep? We recently discovered that the thing that works most consistently for DD is being in our arms while we bounce on the exercise ball. I'd be afraid to learn how many calories I've burnt bouncing since we made that discovery.
Know the feeling!! DD hates to be swadled and needs to be held to sleep soundly. Put her down count to ten and she wakes up everytime! The swing will work some times bout 1 out of every 8 times.
Try the seahorse that sings, DS loved it and still turnes it on at night to go back to sleep. We are going to get DD her own and I pray that she likes it as much as DS does. GL!!

I definitely not expecting her to sleep through the night - not expecting that for quite some time. I was just frustrated from last night - she wouldn't sleep anywhere but on me, but not even that well. Maybe going through a growth spurt, I'm not sure. Glad I'm not the only one that the miracle blanket failed on (at least it was a gift and I didn't buy it). The only thing that soothes her down is breastfeeding/suckling - which I guess it's good that she needs me, but at times it's very exhausting (refuses pacifier and hates swing). And it only makes her reflux worse because it seems that she is taking more volume of milk that way and having more spit ups. And on top of that, she needs to be burped more because of it but burping her prevents her from falling asleep. I'm going to call the doctor for the Zantac on Monday - I have exhausted all other methods to control her reflux (positioning, feeding pattern, burping often, etc). Maybe this will also help her with being less fussy overall.
Thank you everyone for listening. It's good to have a place to vent where people will understand.
I keep reading about these MAM pacifiers (including this thread). Is it something I should consider trying for a last ditch effort? She has rejected the soothies, Dr. Brown's and Nuk (though she sometimes will accept the nuk - but only if I hold it for her for a very brief period).
I think I'm done with anything swaddling. She really gets upset when you take her hands away (I feel so guilty when I tried doing this). And she doesn't like her legs caught in anything either. She's in sleepers at night. I do have a couple Halo sleep sacks (with arms free) that I may give a whirl when she is a bit bigger (she's not 10lbs yet).
Re: Miracle Blanket - NOT a miracle...
Same with my LO. Although, he does like to nap in his swing.
Why are you frustrated? Is she not sleeping at all, or just not STTN?
Right there with ya!
DD gags on pacifiers, hates to be swaddled!
Luckily she's a pretty happy baby, and now that we have her on meds for reflux, we shouldn't have as much fussy time.

I didn't like the miracle blanket at all, maybe I was doing something wrong but it was huge too much fabric maybe?
Swaddle me swaddles are the only ones that I can get tight enough, yet he still breaks out of them.
I JUST got LO to take a paci but only when drowsy and ONLY the mam paci's.
