I, like a lot of us, have used Provera every 60-90 days to bring on a withdrawal bleed from an annovulatory cycle but my new OB wants to try using it every 32 days to see if my body can be tricked into a normal ovulatory cycle. Has anyone else done this? Seems very low on the IF treatment options scale so I doubt it but thought I'd check. Would love to hear your thoughts too even if you haven't done it.

Re: Cyclic Provera...anyone ever used it monthly?
I did! A loooooong time ago and not for ttc. My cycles started going wonky when I was 14 (I suspect partially because I had a ton of stress in my life that year) and just disappeared all together. Since I was a virgin back then, and obviously not at risk of being pregnant, my gyn at the time thought maybe cyclic provera was the way to go. From what I remember, she said that it would be a huge issue if I got pregnant since Provera was very dangerous to a developing fetus. But again, it's over 20 years ago, so.....
Didn't work. Eventually went on BCs at 16 and stayed on BCs until I was 30.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
