Success after IF

Does your LO (16-18mo)...

Come when you ask them to? DS just looks at me and goes about whatever he is doing. I am not worried about his receptive language because he follows other directions but I am just curious if other LO's around his age do this.

  • Sometimes. Depends on their mood. Other times they will look right at me, squeal, and run in the opposite direction laughing.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I think every kid does that, and it is more a matter of 'wow I can move around on my own and explore all this cool stuff and what is that I think someone called my name but oh well mom I'm busy and oh wait, what is this..." than a hearing or understanding problem.

I suspect it is preparation for the teen years!
