Does your LO (16-18mo)...

Come when you ask them to? DS just looks at me and goes about whatever he is doing. I am not worried about his receptive language because he follows other directions but I am just curious if other LO's around his age do this.

    Sometimes. Depends on their mood. Other times they will look right at me, squeal, and run in the opposite direction laughing.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I think every kid does that, and it is more a matter of 'wow I can move around on my own and explore all this cool stuff and what is that I think someone called my name but oh well mom I'm busy and oh wait, what is this..." than a hearing or understanding problem.

    I suspect it is preparation for the teen years!
