I'm just sitting here chillaxin with the family, the boy took a late nap & is WIRED for sound right now!! Good thing its dad's night in charge =)

    It's Saturday afternoon here. Just put DS down for a late nap. Having a cup of tea and some chocolate then I'm sewing him a new Oliver+s outfit...

    This one but I'm making the pants full length since it's winter here. Pants will be in apple green and the top in dark purple! I'm a big fan of colour!!!

    We are currently sitting on our couch watching crappy tv, and avoiding going outdoors at.all.costs.  Fish flies have decended upon our town and it's like a plague of locusts out there right now.  Totally gross.  Babies are in bed and all is quiet on the home front.  Beautiful Friday night.  Smile

    I've never heard of fish flies before. I just googled and I am totally creeped out right now. LOL

    We get them too and they are just starting to come out!! Except we call them shad flies!!!! Makes everything smell like fish and they stick to everything. NOT my favorite time of year at all!

    I am just waiting to see if DD went to sleep before I hit the hay!

    Jessys_girl, I know exactly how you feel, I grew up about 5 min from lake mich!! Its the nastiest thing ever! Hope they all go away soon!!

    It's funny, I am currently reading The Virgin Suicides and the beginning of the novel coincides with the fish fly season and I was wondering all about it. How strange that I would have TWO fish fly references in the last two days and never have heard of them before in my life. Sorry for the ramble and about the fishflies.

    Heh! I've been trying to spend less time on-line and more doing productive things IRL! I'm a SAHM so it's silly for me to spend ages on-line like the peeps who are on here during work (which is totally fair enough, I would too!!!). Also the drama has had me scared away a bit and I've been on December 2011 board a bit too.

    It was so lovely to see a "normal" post I had to join in Wink
