Non-clicky Poll: What makes you happy?

So as I recover from a whirl-wind visit to the in-laws, I am trying to get my happy mama vibes back.  The kids are at the neighbor's house and I am thinking that some vigorous cleaning is in the plan for the day.  Yes, that's right.  The hubs stayed home for the trip and the house is messier than I left it.  Cleaning gives me exercise and provides a clean house, both of which make me happy.  So...

    Being able to go hang out at the beach on a Friday morning with my darlin' baby. Life is good today!

    My happy kiddos, new (to me) cute shoes, knitting, mowing the lawn, going out to eat with friends, and my DH putting his arm around me in bed while C is on my other side.

    O, and bendy straws make me happy.  Maybe it's bringing back the childhood memories, maybe it's the super-bubbliness that happens, IDK.

    YES! I have a bendy straw now, and it's pretty awesome.

    Hugs from my little guy, a hot cup of coffee, the sun that's finally shining in the sky today, and the fact that at the end of the work day, DH will be home for the next five days!!!

    Fresh organic strawberries from the farmer's market...some Diet Dew (which I really need to stop being addicted to) and later reading a good book on my lunch in the sunshine.

    oooo... and seeing my weight back in the 130's  on the scale this morning for the first time since we were married.  Not sure why... must be just chasing after a toddler all the time. Big Smile

    I wish... I still have all the clothes from when I was that size... so no shopping for me.  Well, maybe a couple new things are in order... just as a celebration

    This week:

    Seeing my lo on skype (he is with his grandparents for the month)

    Finally finished grading my student's research papers (super-duper painful)

    Getting more cuddle time with dh

    not seeing my co-irkers for a few days (hello weekend!)

    -taking a bath with a book

    -snuggling with the dogs in bed

    -coming home to a clean thanks to my awesome DH

    -traveling to see family & friends

    -a nice glass of wine - in the tub preferably
