...and said "here go, Mama!". Little Miss Go-Go-Gadget Arms was very proud of herself.
I think I had a small stroke when I saw what she had in her hand. I'm sooooo thankful that she didn't cut herself...or fall and do some serious damage.
I am kicking myself for not putting that knife in the sink when I finished with it. My poor kid deserves better than the crappy mother she's had today...
Good grief...what a week...

Ditto this. Elizabeth brought me AA batteries a few nights ago. We left them out after changing her seahorse. She recently sprouted up an inch or two and I haven't mentally adjusted to what she can now reach!
I KNOW I have a tall kid and I am still consistently surprised by how far up/back she can reach things. I feel like the only safe place in the house is hanging stuff from the ceiling. Give yourself a break, you learned a good lesson, the easy way.
THIS-hugs!

Don't you hate those "what if's" questions running through your mind???
Anyway, it was an accident, we've all been there. Good thing she was smart enough to give it to you
TTC#2=July 2011: Surprise BFP: Chemical Pregnancy
This is random... but I was at a monthly pgcy appt and my OB got chatty and told me this story about how her family was at a friend's and the friend's toddler grabbed a knife and took off running through the house and none of the adults could catch him...
LOL
You are NOT a bad Mom, thankful she didn't get hurt!!
