To any moms out there who are new, those first few weeks can be really hard. I literally cried while breastfeeding him some nights because of the pain (we had thrush) and the exhaustion and the marathon nursing sessions. I've made it through high supply, low supply, flus, broken pumps, clogged ducts, thrush, and a baby who nurses more often than most. We never had to use formula, and I retired the pump last week. Our nursing relationship is awesome now, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. It makes those first few weeks worth it.

I can't believe it's already been a year!
