We just drove from downtown to my home in SW Austin and DD fell asleep. When I brought her in from the car her cheeks were bright red. She woke up a few minutes later and the carseat cover was actually soaked from her sweat. I felt her forehead and the rest of her body and it wasn't overly hot. Now that she's awake it looks like she isn't as sweaty. The A/C works just fine in my car. It alarmed be because of the amount of sweat that was on her head and the carseat cover and I gave her a significant amount of avocado to eat this morning for the first time. Does this sound normal to you?

My kids always get sweaty RFing too. Do you have rear-AC? We don't in our car and it sucks. But as long as she is acting normal, I wouldn't worry. Maybe give her some water in a sippy cup or nurse her?
I'm confused about the avocado part.... ?
This. G gets pretty sweaty back there. Do you have a sun shade on the window? Maybe she was in the direct light and that caused her to get a little more sweaty than normal.
to me Texas = hot sweaty babies in car seats.
i don't think she was having a reaction to the avocado
