  I am assuming these are average size cupcakes and not the mini ones. I would figure 1 pp. Some people won't have one and then there are the couple of ppl that don't show up for a shower even though they rsvp'd a yes. It happened to me for my own shower and my wedding celebration. IMO if you do 2, you will be left with extras and spending more money than neccessary. Good luck!

  Yes, the cupcakes are an average muffin tin size - not the mini ones, and not the super large ones that I see at some bakeries.

  Thanks for your suggestion. (although I love leftover cupcakes!)
