2 month appt - on to ANOTHER specialist!

Had Noah's 2 month appt today. Everything is going okay - the new formula is working well, the Pepcid and probiotic seem to be helping things along just fine. He's gained weight and grew another inch this month.

But it's not all good news. The GI specialist noticed a small heart murmur when she examined him last week and talked to my pedi about it. They want us to make an appt with a pedi cardiologist just to "be safe" - this kid can't catch a break! :-(

Aww..your LO sounds a lot like mine. We had scheduled an appointment with the cardiologist for DS since the peditrician heard a heart murmer at his 3 week weight check (he also wasn't gaining enough due to reflux so we were going every week) but before we could make to that appointment we had his one month checkup and the sound was gone so she gave us the green light to cancel it. Both my nieces also had heart murmers from holes that closed as well so hopefully yours is just as benign too. Sending positive vibes your way.
