Did I miss it?

Today I am CD15 and after 4 days in a row of OPK's I still don't have a smiley face.  Today is the day I am supposed to ovulate.  I always get a Big Smile 2 days before..  sigh.. I hope I just missed the testing window.  I covered all the right bd days and will continue to bd just in case but this is no fair!

    I hope you just missed it.  I never seem to have much luck with the smiley faces.  I've only gotten one in the months I've been using them.  And the only time I got it then was that my crucial days were on the weekend and I was like a crazy person, peeing on a stick every couple of hours.  Good luck!

    I am not giving up yet--I will keep testing for a few more days to make sure and if I never see the smiley I will HOPE I just missed it.  But if I didn't O this month, I will realize that from the beginning and it will make it easier to accept the BFN.. if that is even possible.  Come on Cycle 22!!!!

    Hi.  I have been lurking on here for a month or so. I am 38 and we are TTC.  May I aks a question about the smiley face and timing?

    I have been using the OPKs and I got a smiley face yesterday.  We didn't have sex yesterday.  Are we are still in the window if we do tonight and tomorrow?  The box says that first day of a smiley and the next are the most fertile days, but it seems everyone on the nest and bump have a different understanding.

    Hi!  I am by no means an expert but I try to have sex BEFORE I think I will get my smiley and then continue to do so for a few days AFTER I get it.  That way I THINK I am covering all the possibilities.  Of course I haven't gotten pregnant yet so I am not really sure if that is the way to go but that is what I am doing.  :)  Good Luck TTC!

    The smileys happen when your LH surges. It's hard to know if you caught it at the beginning or end of a surge. Typically women will ovulate 24-36 hours after a surge. I'm sure that's no help but in layman's terms, yes, you are still in your window and in fact I'd go for it tomorrow too!
