  My LMP is March 25.  Going off of that I'm almost 12 weeks and I know that's wrong.  I had a negative test on May 22 and a positive test on May 31.  I might have tested earlier, but we were gone over Memorial Day so I didn't. 

  I was supposed to have a dating u/s done today and I imagine it would have been a transvaginal u/s.  Instead I get to go see the MFM on Thursday and they think I'm going to be far enough along for them to do the NT Scan.  Why don't doctor's offices listen?

  I ovulated on CD 54 I believe. If I went by my LMP, I would be due in August which is way off. They will definitely do a dating ultrasound. That's great for you because you'll be able to see your LO before most people get to!

  I was still nursing my son when I got pregnant too. I'd had 6 cycles before getting pregnant, and they all ranged from 30 to 38 days long. I was using OPK's the cycle I got pregnant, and STILL had not ovulated by CD 29, so it would have been a long and messed up cycle anyway. It just figures that THAT'S the cycle I get pregnant on! I think the OPK's were starting to darken on day 29, so I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate until CD30, and my ultrasounds have all confirmed that. At first they thought I should have been 2.5 weeks further along, based on my LMP, but I kept saying that I didn't ovulate unitl late. Like you, I'd had a negative test 3 days before my BFP.

  Like you said though, I'm sure they'll send you for an ultrasound. It's possible that they'll question the viability of the pregnancy, because it sounds like you ovulated late and that you're closer to 4-5 weeks pregnant.

  I had long and irregular cycles, and wasn't even O'ing the cycles I temped and used OPKs.  In fact, I only took a pg test this time because I was on cd44 and wanted to call my doctor to ask what could be done.  I knew the first thing they would ask is if I could be pregnant- surprise!  I had no idea how far along I was, either but doubted it was as long as my LMP date suggested.  They did do an internal ultrasound, but only because I went to have betas done based on a previous loss, and the HCG came back at 13,000 which is apparently high enough that they prefer to do an u/s because the doubling in a set time period isn't as reliable at that point.  I was also off by a few weeks with my DD, but at that time I knew pretty much when I had O'd and they did not do an internal, but instead did a regular u/s at 8 1/2 weeks (what would have been 10 1/2 weeks based on LMP).  My guess is that if you tested every few days and just got a bfp, your date of conception was probably 12-16 days ago.

  I EP for my DS and have only had 3 periods since he was born 10 months ago, and even those were very short and questionable.  My LMP was April 7th, I took a test on May 17th (as I did every once in a while just to double check), and it was positive, but at my first u/s when I estimated I was about 6.5 weeks based on when I got the positive test, I was showing about 4.5 weeks and only an empty sac was present.  I got another u/s 2 weeks later to be sure there was further growth and was then measuring 6.5 weeks.  So my dates don't really add up in my mind, but so far things look good.
