Seperate questions that is.
I need a big wet bag for a trip we are going on. A big one that will like 20ish diapers. Z will be with his godparents and I don't want to burden them with washing. Our condo rental will have a W&D.
#2: Z's rash is back and I now think it's the diapers. The rash is pretty bad. I have tried the dawn wash and that isn't working. Someone suggested the rockin green soak. I just need to get them clean. Has anyone done the rockin green soak and it was successful? Does anyone else have other suggestions?
Re: help: Rash and wet bag question.
Planetwise has a hanging wet sack that should hold about 20 diapers.
We are having rash problems around here too! It is such a pain! Have you tried switching detergents? I think that ours is caused by our Charlie's soap. Do you use Bum Genius diapers? Sometimes babies have problems with the microsuede in them. ( A few other kinds are made of microsuede also.) If you use something without a stay dry liner (such as prefolds) have you tried putting fleece to help wick the moisture away from your LO?
Maybe we should try to switch detergents. We use all sorts of diapers. BG, flips, grovia, smartipants, fb's and other randoms. Mostly we use pocket. We have been Cding for about 13 months now and he is just now developing a rash issue. I was reading something about yeast in the diapers.
No I haven't tried fleece yet. Someone was saying that I can just pick up fleece from the fabric store. I may have to do that until I can get the rockin green soak down.
Your pocket diapers won't need fleece since they already have fabric that wicks away the moisture. I have heard some people having problems with rashes in rocking green. We had yeast and what I did to get it out of the diapers was first do a cold cycle with some drops of tea tree oil. Then do a hot cycle with biokleen oxygen bleach. I then dried everything on hot. Here is an article that talks about it. Good luck, yeast is the worst!

Where did you get teh tea tree oil? Is the biokleen oxygen bleach safe with the pockets? I thought bleach was supposed to be bad for them.

thanks for your help by the way.
