Nbr. Tshirt design on printer?

I remember someone talking about special paper to make iron on transfers for t shirts. Where is the best place to get it? And when you set it up do you have to make your text and image backwards? Anything else I should know?

    I have bought it at Joann's before. But I suck and didn't make it backwards so can't help ya there. LOL

    you can get the transfer paper at a craft store and the directions are on the package. Its really simple. there are two kinds of paper too one for dark sjirts and one for light colored.

    I got some at walmart, it was only like 4 bucks for a pack of 6 pieces of iron on transfer paper.  Best deal around!  

    You do have to reverse your image.

    Remember that White is not a color that your printer prints.  So if you plan on printing onto colored shirts then make sure you get the kind of paper that is made for dark colored shirts, even if your shirt is going to be a light color other than white.

    it is 100% easier to use an image that has no white color, or just to print on a white shirt.

    Good Lord I hope you don't think I'm pregnant!! I'm 41, tubes tied. DONE. and happily so. ;)

    I'm doing this amazing race type thing in a few weeks with some friends and I need a funny shirt for part of my costume. ;)

    lol C!

    When I made a big sister shirt for A, I bought the iron on paper at Target and I did not have to reverse the image. 

    Kim sent me a design that was reversed and I had to ask her for a regular version of it for it to work. So...take a look at the paper you buy...I didn't look and just grabbed the cheapest that they had available.
