Am I wrong???

Am I just dumb or right? My neighbor just told me she's pregnant & that her MIL is a twin & her husband's sister had identical twins & a cousin on his side is a twin so she "hopes it's twins since it runs in the family" I told her unless it runs in YOUR family (being the famale side) it doesn't matter. Men always shoot lots of sperm it's up to you to drop more eggs, also identicals are spontaneous & have nothing to do with genetics, IF drugs, etc. She told me I was ill informed & need to read up on my facts? Really? Am I wrong?

    no...you are right.

    1st pregnancy: m/c began 1/12/09 d&c 1/13/09 8wks. Baby stopped growing at about 6wks.

    Delaney: Born 10/15/09

    Gavin: Born 4/8/11

    Baby #3: due July 10, 2014

    Well, because then she could breed dogs that can open cabinets and make a fortune.  I mean, that has to be genetic, too...right??

    You are right, however....I argued with a friend until I was blue in the face that she was wrong about her theory and wouldn't you know she went and had identical twins.

    So, she proved me wrong....even though I was quoting science. Indifferent

    I have a coworker who has a set of identical twins. Her daughter is pregnant and if she said it once, she said it 1000 times, "I told her to be careful since I had twins, so she's probably gonna have them too!" I just dont have the heart to argue. And we work in a medical field...
